Well, this has nothing to do with interior, etc, but since is where the majority of painting topics are, I figured I'd post my question here.

I'm Painting my valve cover, i wanna do it blue with white lettering on the Toyota emblem and where it says VVT-I and 16 valve...any tips/tricks as to how to mask this off??

I know people here have done it because I've seen it on the pics, but perhaps i just stupid, because I can't think of anyway to mask it off. lol

 

Simply get a decal (Randode.com) has them. Apply the decal, spray the color paint, remove the decal.

I was going to suggest Randode also. Take a look at the tech section and you will see some DIY's on painting plastic. good luck..........
