Not a lot of people know this, including me, but it is ILLEGAL for Car manufacturers reveal their estimated MPG and must only display the EPA MPG. Most manufacturers MPG ratings are under the EPA's. Like the New Prius, they are not getting 60MPG's some are getting 45 MPGS. I read it on Edmunds or Autoweek.

Thanks.

Thanks.
Kevin
because bigger engines don't really make mileage all that much worse!
the scion is geared pretty short for getting off from a start quick, I bet the corrolla has gas friendly gearing

I highly reccomend not listening to random people about cars, and yeah, I know that ought to include me. Read up on how cars work and you can tell when people are full of crap.
a cold air intake just makes it easier to pull air into the engine. thats nothing that would hurt mileage.

Speaking of this stuff...
I noticed that the xA made it in the top 12 list of the "greenest cars in 2004."
see here:

"...lists the top models having the highest Green Scores overall."
Go green!
