Our kit requires you tap the oil pan, and it is not incredibly difficult, but it a little aggrivating.

PM or email me any more questions you may have about our kit.

Dezod is awesome with Customer Service. I've been helped out by them a few times with questions about the kit I bought, and it wasn't even through them!

for dezod

It comes with all the fittings needed to do it without welding.

I would still recommend having it welded.
If you do it yourself, you will have to pry off the pan (a pain and time consuming), then drill the hole, debur everything, tap it, and put the fitting in, then get some silicone and put the whole shebang back together.

Or, you can go to a shop, pay them $80 and have them drop the pan, drill it, WELD the fitting on, and put everything back togehter, and plug it so you can drive home and install the rest of the kit.

When we did mine (on the TT kit) the wastegate dump tube was not alligned right, so the heat from it messed up the washer on the fitting. We have since welded the fitting and removed the dump tube until Todd sends me one with a differnt bend in it to go next to the fitting, instead of blowing right on it.
So, yeah, you can do it yourself, and many have...but the RIGHT way to do it would be to have it welded.
