Default TSB has been issued for creaking roof

My local Scion service manager called to say that the TSB for the creaking roof has been issued. He gave me TSB NV010-04. However, I could not find on the NHTSA site. But he might be privy to these before the public.

Once I get my car fixed from the accident I will have fixed. He indicated the TSB did not sound like it would take a long time to fix and would be fairly easy.

Please add-on if you have more info or a different TSB #.

Interesting. I agree with the Toyota Nation posts: If you have a rattle or any other problem, go in and say "This is rattling. Fix it." The only reason to even know about the TSB is to have some reassurance that the techs will be able to fix your problem. Would you go to a dentist and say "I need a root canal"? Just tell them what the problem is, that's why they're there.

Default Its TSB or TBS

ITs Technical Bull ____. *lol*

When going up an elevated driveway (when turning in) I hear something in the roof (crack/pop).

When driving on non-smooth roads I hear rattling (driver side dash or in around that area).

When driving at freeway speed, more noticable road noise.

My roofs cracks/pops so loud, that several times I've got out of the car to make sure I didn't hit anything. Sounded like I backed into a poll.

my roof creaks, but i do not even notice anymore, maybe its cuz the radio is on and plus the weather has been getting cooler, i heard something that temp might be a factor.

so all i have to do is go into my dealer n say, "my roofs creaking.. i heard a TSB was put out" and they'll fix it for free i assume and if the creak doesn't pose a serious problem besides an annoyance, can i just wait till i get my oil change to get it fixeD?

Temp deff plays a factor, at first I got major loud snaps and pops... after a while (guessing after it loosened up more) I got noises alot more, but they were much more subtile. Now that it has gotten cold out, if the car is cold like 30-45 degrees it makes loud noises again.
