the wire out the back of the new stereo that is supposed to go to the parking brake. just run it to a ground bolt. that is all the brake switch does is ground it out. this way you can have dvd while driving

yeah, i believe it's a long, light green wire coming out the back of the HU. there's a good grounding point just to the left if you look through the opening where the HU is mounted.

What I did on mine is, grounded the parking brake wire on one of the mounting screws for mouting the bracket and HU in.

Ive not had a problem and its easy!

For starters this plug you are looking at is for a pioneer d3 and that yellow/black wire that they are moving is a mute wire...

Secondly you should be watching a DVD while driving...

the pictures you show are for a Pioneer D3,i dont think it will work the same way.

Yeah it should be a long green wire. Take the green wire and ground it to a wire that is grounded( I used the radio harness ground)

I have the same deck I put a switch on the side of the center consol so if a cop rolls up I can turn it off quick. With this deck don't get the Ipod hook up it blows, it runs off the disc changer menu so you cant even get to your play list run a splitter in to your video in and go that way if you are going to use an Ipod.

yeah, i have the ipod adapter with this one too. i just select what i want to hear on the ipod and pause it before i plug it in, and the HU will stick to whatever playlist you selected. it is a bit of a pain, because if you want to listen to something else, you have to unplug the ipod and select it, then plug it back in. plugging it into the video in is a good idea because you can also watch videos from your ipod. just don't cheap out on the cable or splitter. you don't want a degraded signal when you're trying to listen to music on the ipod.
