Default Local Shop Questions....

Hey guys, I just moved to MD a few months ago and just bought a tC and I love it! I want to start doing some minor mods to it... CAI, Hotchkis springs, maybe headers.... anyway... I'm living in Millersville, MD... and was wondering if anyone could recommend a shop that won't bend me over on pricing for any of the work I don't want to try to do myself? Also since I'm a noob to Scions, what web sights do most of you use to order parts from?

for your performance needs, take a look at www.dezod.com. they have some good stuff.

i also reccommend getting the trd shocks and struts with thos hotchkis springs, and also, the hotchkis sways are awesome!

Thats what I've read(I've been reading forums all week) and I'm gonna slowly get it all together then find a shop to put it on.... or try myself, I like working on my own car so I might try to do it myself but I'm not a very good mechanic. I have a few folks I know who are and I may be able to sucker them into supervising....

thanks for the tips guys.

Do you guys really get together Friday nights for a cruise/dinner/beers ect?

Ok, after crawling my fatass under the car today when I got home I found out I have TRD shocks struts sways.... would have been nice if Carmax had listed the options somewhere in all the paperwork they gave me...

I ordered Hotchkis springs, which are lower than TRD stuff from what I've read so I'm gonna put them on. is the Hotchkis sway better than TRD significantly?

call up josh ( trdsparks) and might wanna cancel the order. chances are u also have some kind of lowering as well but make sure.

Hotckis = better then trd significantly cause they are designed to work together ( the front and the rear)

Hotchkis sits lower than TRD from what I've read so I think I still want the Hotchkis springs.... next on my list is Hotchkis Swaybars!

* check the pics in my profile after looking at the car again I'm not sure how much lower I can go lol
