Knowing this:

Warranty = Extended

Goal = ~300whp

Budget = 8k$

Upgrades Including:
Big brake kit
Coilovers
Cat-back exhaust
Header
LW pulley
Engine management
Clutch & flywheel
Cosmetic/lighting
Supercharger
9.5psi pulley
Upgraded BPV
Minor body kit
(Miss anything?)

Buy the S/C first?
or
Build up the car for the S/C?

Timeframe is around 2 years...

i say build first because after u get the s/c setup and get it tuned...everything u do after, you'll have to tune it again because the s/c doesn't hold up well with more mods and no tunings...then...
to get 300whp ur gonna need a 12 lb pulley (after the beefing up of the engine) and some serious internals...possibly a water meth injection system also...and ur gonna have to rebuild the supercharger because unless u replace the bearings with closed loop bearings instead of the open ones that it comes with...it won't hold up, trust me...

Understood oh wise one

I was hoping but not counting on getting in the stage 1 head package from ZPI and the intake manifold that Stealth Street was working on... to help boost up the HP.

I understand the new internals to help cover the incoming boost/hp... thus I might tone it down some from 300, 250 maybe... I don't want to get carried away... unless it's in my car!

It doesn't really matter. TRD base tune comes with the install and you're getting the install done by a dealer if you want it to be covered under the extended warranty and you're gonna have to tune a piggyback or full ems on top of that anyways if you get into any heavy modding.
I got the s/c installed and I've started planning/buying all my big mods. ems will be the last thing I buy and I'll install everything and tune it in one shot. ...meanwhile I can drive it around with the basic s/c and work out all the kinks, if any.

If it were up to me, here's the order I'd go in -
1. Summer/performance tires
2. Rear Sway
3. SC
4. DRIVE THE CAR

see what you like, what you don't. Then pick an area to concentrate in like exterior, handling, HP/TQ, stereo. One of the best ways to really figure out if you'll be happy with something is to have the money saved and set aside for the part you want, then wait a month. If in 30 days you still want to spend your real cash on that part, you'll probably be pretty happy with it.

Just realized something: If you're really shooting for 300hp, you're not getting there with the parts on your list. Check out Icenine's build to understand what 300hp takes with the SC. I believe his total cash outlay including labor was around $6k total to get there.

if i were you, seeing as your timeframe is two years, i would buy a spare motor (06 or 07 whichever you have) keep it in your garage, build it, in the meantime beef up your car's suspension, then buy the SC, install it in the motor you built but dont get the reflash(it's a piece of crap), just tune it with emanage ultimate.

Ok a stage 1 or stage 2 brake kit, not necessarily larger rotors, at the most drilled or slotted

Ok maybe 250hp, I don't want to be psycho when it comes to modding, I'd like to keep it mostly bolt on....

Read up on slotted and cross drilled rotors. You'll quickly realize that you don't want them.

Also, if you drive a lot for work, perhaps it isn't the greatest idea to turbo. When (not if) something goes wrong that sidelines your car, how will you make the money you need to fix it?

well the ZPI head package is not gonna be an option because they are pretty much about to be a defunct business...falling out between owners. Now, please, other SL members let's not turn this thread into what you do and don't know about the ZPI drama because there's plenty of threads already about that...keep in on topic for the man please...but in short...ZPI is no more!
