G35 Sedan
Well, I got a new job and I have to drive a bit farther than the 1 mile to work each day. Summer/Spring I rode my bike a lot, but now I can't. The box is great for the mileage and all, but in the winter it really isn't the best. I got stuck on the way to work in the 2 snowstorms we had last year and can't really miss days like that anymore. My mom had mentioned in passing that she may sell her car to my sister, and that she wouldn't mind buying my car. This of course got the wheels spinning.
I'm really digging the G35 Sport Sedan. I would just shoot toward a 350Z or the coupe, but after driving the tC for over a year, I'm not a coupe kinda guy. I used to drive a Corsica, and then a Buick so the size doesn't bother me one bit.
Anyone have any experiences with the G35S? So far I'm looking at Blue Slate with the Premium package. I can get anything else much cheaper on the interwebs so I'm keeping the options down.

so you want to sell your box because you can't risk getting stuck in the snow for a vehicle that is more likely to get stuck in the snow...
if getting stuck in the snow is your prime concern, then you would want to get something like an outback sedan or wagon, or forrester or baja.
in the snow, it isn't just about the drivetrain. you have to also consider ground clearance. my mom has a subaru legacy 2.5 gt that i almost got stuck in the snow with because while it is awd, it rides pretty low.
so if you have a job you have to be at before the roads have been plowed, simply having an awd car isn't going to be enough.
i would say your best choice would have to be a real 4wd light truck or suv. i'm sorry, but it buying a g35x for that reason isn't a very good one at all.

I've been overtired for the past 2 weeks adjusting to the job so I wasn't all that clear in my original post.
The getting stuck thing isn't my motivation for getting a new car. That instance was my only qualm with the box really. I'm not looking at the G as a preventative measure from snow, I'm just liking it as a possible next vehicle to own.
Sorry about that. Also, Ive never been a Subbie fan for the people that offered that as an option. Nothing against the WRX but I'm just not big on them.
