Default Did I miss out?

a few months ago as i looked through the car sales magazine in my city's newspaper, i came across a dealer listing for a 2003 MB C230 Kompressor in black with a manual trans. for $17,400. i'm fairly happy with my tC, but thinking back now while i look at the C230 prices, it seems like i missed an opportunity. i almost stopped by the dealer to check it out that day, but my gf talked me out of it. at that time the market was inundated with used C class cars, and now there aren't so many. if i see a deal like that again, i'm definitely going to at least check it out. i don't care what the girl says.

The only thing ur missing out is on RWD. Other than that MB has have alot of electrical problems ever since they decided to focus on being "Technological Innovators" n ditch build quality. N besides the only thing u'd be paying for is the name. $17,400 u can buy a brand spankin new tC. Definitly not missing out on anything.

thanks, guys. i'm just really getting tired of anyone who rides with me asking what those various noises/squeaks/rattles are. it's kind of embarrassing. i guess that's the price we pay for an inexpensive, worry-free ride.

WOW.. you'd really go check out a Mercedes? I work at a dealership that has a few guys that used to work at a Mercedes store and you should just HEAR some of the stuff they've got to say about that product. I took in a black C250 the other day, it was a 04 with about 60K on it... I'll sell it to you for $17,400 come see me... and they enjoy every visit to your mechanic... like your $80 oil changes... etc...

We cannot tell you how to spend your money, on what car, whats worth what, etc. !!

If you dont mind tossing more $$ at the fire, then maybe a MB is for you.
Personally, I can find many-many other uses for $ rather then spending every little red cent on a vehicle ... . it just aint worth it, and if you do- in the end you'll look back and say "what a waist of $$".
