brake light is coming on more than likely becuase your front brakes pads are low on the lining.

yeah, you need new brake pads. the car notices that it takes more brake fluid to compress the pads to the rotors, and tells you that you need new brake pads.

its your brake fluid.
Same thing happen to me.
Get the required brake fluid and add some to the brake fluid tank.

And if you can check your brake pads also.

To clarify, the brake light comes on because of either pressure issues or low brake fluid. IT just happens that when the pads are worn enough the fluid goes down and causes the light to come on. it is not a brake wear indicator, it is a brake system issue indicator. IF you have uneven pressure due to a leaky caliper it will also come on.

Well you really only need to change the pads... and may not for a while if they are not too worn. New fluid, ss lines, etc are not needed. SS lines will improve pedal feel but will do nothing to make the car stop any better. The stock fluid will do you just fine as well unless you are road racing and risk overheating the brakes. Personally I would just change the pads. I run stock brakes other than the pads and autox mine. I cant complain at all about the brakes.

well my pads squeek a bit here and there so i guess i need to get them changed, and i noticed yesturday, that only when i slow down and let go of brake and floor the car, pedal to the metal, only than it turns on and off, so maybe it is just fluid thats splashing around and at one point when i floor it it just splashes the other way away from the sensor so it ends up coming on, what do you guys think?

I have seen brand new pads squeal to no end. Take them off and look at them to see if they are worn.

As they wear, the fluid level drops. If is low and sloshes around enough the dummy light will flash.
