It's a funny way of saying that the plastic airflow tube from the engine to the filter has been removed. This gives a bit more horsepower i guess. i dint do it, so i cant get into detail about it. haha. one of the bf's great ideas. he read it online somewhere.

^ tcBaby plz re-connect the PCV Valve!!!(plastic airflow tube form engine)

thats very important, if you keep it disconnected form the engine, its gunna spit oil all over ur engine bay, and its just overall not gunna be fun.

you can always get a oil catch can, which is a lil metal can like thing that the hose from the engine connects to so it spews the excess oil into the can, instead of back into the intake.

but yea it does nothing for Horespower anyway, lol

but yea reconnect it

and yea i think that a tC can be overdone ya know, stupid body kits, huge wings, tons of wierd stickers, too many colors....

lol just keep it simple and ur cool

hey hey hey- layoff guys. ive only ever looked under my hood to clean it. like i said previously, my boyfriend did it. he basically does everything with my car. he has a box and likes to play around with my car too- he's basically gettin two Scions for the price of one, lol. And maybe its not coming from the motor- i dont know, thats the only thing i could think of. all i know is that its totally safe for my car- oil DOES NOT go everywhere- and yes there is some moderate added horsepower- plus it sounds a little deeper. so...i dont know.

I dont even think youll get sound from that. Air still has to pass through the stock air filter, and the small piece of tubing going through the fender is definitely not keeping everything quiet down there.

I would say you both have the case of the "placebo" effect.
