Default Antenna

I want to know how is the long rubber antenna attached to the car's roof? I'm trying to determine whether it fell off while I was driving or someone stole it.

Where can I find a replacement antenna?

Actually, I want to know how is the antenna attached to the base? Is it screwed on or is it fixed to the base with a pivot on the bottom?

oHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh ok.. my bad... sorrry........... i read it wrong......... hhhhmmm lemme get the flash light out... be right back.......
Ok I looked at the pivot point... NO fasteneers visable.. then looked above the pivot point going up the antenna & saw a seam... So I grabbbed the antenna & 'unscrewed'. Well I unscrewed the antenna all the way off! Now the pivot point remained on the car with the 'male' threaded end exposed. Inside the removed antenna shaft is a threaded 'female' end....
Hope this answeres your question.... jh

Not a problem. Thanks for checking it out.

I can confirm that some @#$#@$#@ stole my antenna!

I always get confused with the male/female ends. Would the antenna shaft's thread look something like this? Also, what's a good replacement for my missing antenna shaft?

Found it here:

Is it even worth $50???Link to Antenna

idk, if you listen to the radio, then I guess you have no other choice but to buy the $50 antenna.

They match the color specifically based on the paint code of the vehicle. Make sure you checka nd get it here if you do not have hte code. I believe codes are in a sticky note above here. Here is a close up shot to help you decide for sure...

Looks pretty tight. How was the installation? The website was a bit vague on the installation.

Funny. I'll stick to the arrangement I have, 1 male to 2 female ends.

And/Or when you get lucky enough to connect with a female end that doesn't mind sharing and has trouble dealing with your... "exuberance" shall we say. Appetite for life?
