YES, a crank pulley only turns the belt on your car; automatics and manuals use the same process to deliver power from the engine to the transmission.

That site has the same price as the site that I am going to give you but I would highly recommend this site because I know the guy and he just sold many to people on clubsciontc.com. Here you go. www.carcandymotorsports.com

i got an AP pulley and it didn't do anything for an automatic as far as power goes.. until i swapped tranny's. if i were you, spend the money on something else more important.. like better brake pads or something.

That may be true, but it does free some power up. Lighter pulley means more power no matter what. It's a fast way to get some unused power with a low price.

There is a good DIY on this site https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...&highlight=zpi

DO NOT TRY IT WITHOUT A FRIEND. Yeah...enough said haha. I'm glad you went with carcandy very good. I didn't order mine from him cuz i found it local, but i would have if i didnt have that opprotunity.

there's been a debate whether or not the pulley actually gains power. so if you think there's a gain, then there's a gain.

but to me, it's a worthy mod.. but something that you wouldnt notice right away. i say it would work better with manual tC's because the RPM's get up there pretty quickly compared to the stock pulley.

i just installed mine saturday, it does quicken throttle response slightly and free up HP in the mid-high range (test drove it on highway) also added ingalls ETD. install was a breeze.

I don't think it actually improves horsepower, but it gives you better access to what horsepower you -do- have.

You'll need a friend to pull on the belt tensioner, a breaker bar to apply force to said tensioner (or a really strong friend), and a compressor/impact wrench that can tighten the bolt back to factory spec. DO NOT try this without an impact wrench; unless you have a three foot breaker bar, you're not getting that bolt off.
