headlights questions??
hey fellas i got a couple of questions regarding my headlights bulbs.
well im planing to change the low beam and high beam bulbs of my car but im not sure wich will do good.
low beam: do the h 11 fit good for the low beam or is there another size???
high beam: h 11 or something different?? planing to get the 8500 purple from nokya i think thats why i need your guys help. i want hids but im kind of broke right now plus were i live cops are really picky and jerks about everything.
so fellas help me out.
also i want to change the leds from my dash and how many do i need and what kind and size i want blue and white for the turnsignals from the door mirrow how many leds does it take each.

look in the owners manual for the proper size of light bulbs for the high and low beams.
lights for lamps on cars are basically made so that they won't fit in a different socket or outlet, with different male and female ends, tabs, notches and so on.
i think h11 is your low beam, and 9005 is your high beam.

If the cops are picky then why the crap would you put the purple lights. Doing something like that is asking them to pull you over. And really it's your fault if you do. Stick with the bright white to slightly bluish tint. And you shouldn't have to worry. If you want the HID check out

It's easy to replace the H11 low beams with H9s. You just have to mod them a little bit. I started a thread about this with DIY links a while back. The difference in light output is very significant.
H11 = 55W/1200 lumens
H9 = 65W/2100 lumens
Someone probably even has blue H9s for those who prefer color to useful illumination.
