Electrical Problem - Power Doors and Sunroof - Help!
Ever since I got my electronics installed after my turbo kit, both doors and sunroof continue to draw power and are functional even after the car has turned off.
The gauges I have are Boost, AEM Wideband A/F, Oil Pressure, Greddy Turbo Timer, CompuSTAR Alarm System.
I have tried to diagnose the problem myself by disconnected all the harnesses from all the gauges, but still no luck.
This problem causes my battery to drain in less than a 24 hour period.
Any suggestions?
Also, I can’t take it back to the shop, since they are now out of business. JUST MY LUCK!

you have a short to power which is causing parasitic drain on the battery. all you need is 1 amp of drain and that is enough to kill a batt.
you need to find out which consumer is draining power. get a dmm and meadure current and keep unplugging this till the amps drop off

You said your sunroof and windows are still functional even when your car is off? did you splice or tapped some wires from your sunroof and windows? Maybe a continous power source tapped with the wiring of your sunroof and windows?

If all the harnesses are disconnected from the gauges, wouldn't that be the same thing as untapping the wires?

Somebody had similar prob with yours tapping the wrong wire when installing his headunit but only its not the windows/ sunroof but it was his ac/radio/gauge cluster that stays on when the car is off.

I am unsure where the gauges are tapped but I will be tracing all wire very soon.

I doesnt have to be the same thing, yes your gauges wont work but if the constant on wire is still connected your window and sunroof then its still drawing power from your battery even if your car is off. You go trace it and check your taps..

did you notice my post, he's got a short to power

He mentioned that his windows and sunroof are functional even when his car is off, so I told him what I thought the prob is which might be similar to a situation that another guy here had when installing his headunit. If Im misleading him in a way, then feel free to correct it.
since the power windows and sliding roof are on the same power circuit, a wire must be tape on that circuit. Additionally, I believe that the wire are tapped on to a wire going to the main control module. It is not allowing the main control module to reset the circuit when the car turns off.
Just a theory! I'm gonna bury myself in the wire diagrams of the car to understand the wiring scheme.

Sounds like the Turbo timer or the Alarm.
Have you tried disconnecting anything to see what would happen? When he says there's a short, it sounds like a remote or ACC wire is being crossed with a constant somewhere. That would take current from the constant and send it out to all accessories that is shorting into it. This could be caused by the turbo timer or the alarm in most cases. I assume you didn't tap the gauges into your acc power for the windows but i guess that's possible.
