So I will be getting an Injen CAI soon but it can be a short ram too. I was wondering if it would be better to install it as a CAI or SR? I've heard they make power differences in different parts of the powerband depending on how u install them?

Any comments on CAI's would be nice.

 

cai is better, just make sure to get a bypass valve to preven hydro lock.

 

Yeah I want one but I don't think Injen makes one. AEM is the only one that makes one and it is like 2.5" in diameter where the injen intake it 3" in diameter.

 

well, why does it have to be injen? but anyway, cold air intakes work more effciently than short ram intakes.

Wonder what modifications need to be made so it will fit then? Cause I was under the assumption that is was smaller cause it said it needed to be modified. I don't plan on driving my tC on the days it rains. I have an xD for that type of weather. Ha ha

 

well if you have another car and don't drive the tc in the rain, you don't need a bypass.

just get the CAI and have fun!!!!
