coil overs aren't necessary unless you plan to adjust the dampening. trd lowering springs and struts and hotchkis sways make the car rotate excellantly.

and trd makes coil overs for the tc, so look into those. trdsparks has a sponsored sale for them right now i believe.

You cant run an electronic controller in autox as far as I know. At least not in any of the classes that the tC will be remotely competitive in.

But you really should just go out and autox what you have first. 90% of your improvement will be driver improvement, not car improvement. After you learn the car, make one change at a time to get it dialed in.

I run trd springs and a rear sway and the car does well, and that is on all seasons.

Overall, some things that will really help the car are:

Springs
Sway(s)
Tires
Alignment

If you dont plan on really tuning the suspension (corner balancing, doing a lot of tuning on height, etc) then just get some springs you like. The car has coilovers stock, what you are really getting with what everyone refers to as coilovers is adjustment. If you arent going to use it, just get some springs and save some moolah.

you should also look into what the rules are for your class and see how well you do in it as is.

the tc does good in HS from what i'm told.

ive already autoxed before with my old integra but since now i have my tc i wanted to know wats the best set up for these cars. my car is bone stock as is but i at least wanted to get the coilovers or springs first on the car to not have so much body roll while autoxing. im used to driving my integra so much that my tc fells like so wierd. my old teg was slammed and had struts and tie bars and now im driving a monster truck riding tc which like i said before fells wierd ___ hell. oh and thanks for the info, ithink imma look into the trd springs and coilovers and go from there.

Tires are a must to change! stock tires are crap! especially if you want to autoX... sway bar,shocks/springs set up... youll be pretty good... then you can go from there... so far thats what i got and its a night and day difference from stock... just the sway bar alone i felt a big difference

If you want to decrease body roll, focus on sway bars first. That is their direct purpose. Suspension will help as well, but you need to get sway(s)

As far as drop, slamming a car is not the answer. Going too low throws off suspension geometry. On this car 2" is about all you want to drop. I think 1.5 is about prime for handling from what has been done so far. This was measured and spec'd out by a member on here a while back when he built his tC for autox (he did a serious build)

Raamaudio built that tC. 1.5" is the optimum drop that he reported.

That was a very cool build. Very focused on autox for the most part. As far as I know that car is still for sale unless someone already snatched it up!

I'm AutoX'ing with Progress Coilovers, Progress Rear Sway, ST Front Sway, and DC Front Strut. Don't forget about your camber too and the rubber you're running on.
