I think it might just a electrical problem. Is the engine on while you are running the radio and headlights?

HID shouldn't have any kind of disturbance. If there's a problem with hte HIDs then the FCC should have something to say about it LOL.

FCC is a company that makes regulations regarding which electronic devices can produce radio frequencies and on which band. That FCC sticker on your electronics certifies that product acts as expected and does not produce radio frequencies outside its intended use.

In this case, your HID's may be putting out frequencies that interrupt your radio. It can happen in items that use ac/dc converter but still, they shouldnt by design.

What brand are your HIDs? Cheapo no names?

fujita - if you have a wire harness with your kit, ground to the battery instead of using an existing ground. i know this thread is a month old but just trying to help out.

Good luck with the lights man.
