So I went to autozone to pick up some wax to wax my car today, but came across some carbon fiber vinyl

so I bought some to replace my rear cf emblem I had because this one looked better.

so with the extra vinyl I had left over, I made some eyelids. I took some white printer paper and placed it on the head light and traced out the eyebrows, took me about 5 tries to get it right.

I cut out the pattern on the vinyl, and applied them. here is a snapshot of the left headlight



but after the second eyelid was applied, I really didnt like the look of the cf vinyl on the bsp tc. so I just took them off

I thought they came out nice, but I just didnt like the look of cf vinyl on my car. maybe I should try to use just tint or black vinyl.

what do you guys think?

ps. Do not send me requests to make some for you and no I dont want to sell eyelids either.
there are much better ones from vendors here on the forum. I only made these on my own as an experiment with left over vinyl.

I wasn't aware they sold vinyl... do you know if they had just plain black?

 

well the store was kragens, thats where I got it from, I just call all of those stores autozone

I only saw cf, pin strips and chrome vinyl. I was actually hoping they would have black or red vinyl, but they dont
