Default quick question about HKS hi power exhaust

websites say they fit only 04-05
but ppl commented and they put it on their 06 TCs, will a HKS hi power axelback exhaust fit on a 07 tc?

Just wanted to say we take customer service very seriously. the Hks eshaust is actually one of the most popular items sold on our website and we have had no complaints to date on this particular item and its compatibility. If you'd like to ask any other questions about the item just pm me and I'll get right back to you.

ill be honest, i had to do some mods to get it to work on my 08, it seemed like the tip didnt extend out the rear as far as i have seen on other cars, causing it to melt my bumper, i had a local exhaust shop put a cut in the turn of the pipe right under the rear crossmember allowing us to pull the tip towrds the center of the car and off the bumper, then just welded the cut, still too far under the car i think but doesnt melt the bumper, maybe i had the one system made with the short pipe, who knows

^^nope...almost always the HKS sits weird. it sat weird on my old civic and melted the bumper as well. ive heard many people complain of this on their tc's thats why i went with the trd with custom pipes.

is it really worth spending that much money buying just an
"axel" back?...i mean why wouldnt you just go buy a universal muffler and go to a shop to get some piping and you could easily spend up to $250 is you play it right.

I had this exhaust on my 06. In retrospect, it was kinda overpriced for just an axel-back. I ended up getting an exhaust shop to weld it into a cat-back. It was ok, I don't really remember it making that noticeable of a difference powerwise. I also didn't like the huge foldgers can muffler.

i like the look, but i think im going to swith it out for a straight out muffler, not sure whick one yet. and the reason to go with an axleback i think, is the piping is cleaner then a chop can do, it has no kinks or crshing by the bender, and the midpipe looks good enough to keep there, the s-pipe is the only other thing i want to change out here soon

the sipe wont change the sound, the aftermarket one just flows better, the midpipe will change the sound, as does the header. to be honest, i hated the sound of the header at first, but its grown on me, i dont mind it so much now

i paid 500 for the custom piping (2.5") + HKS HI -TI + 22" magnaflow resonator

and i got my muffler very straight.. the titanium tip is sticking out looks bad ___ and no melt/burn on the bumper anymore

(my last muffler burned my bumper so i had to change it.. and now with the hks im good..)
