Default new title....help how find a grill;)

I've been searching for grills on ebay for some time now and found this one tonight
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...spagenameZWDVW

Does anyone have this grill? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping it fits well. I'm a little skeptical with any grill from ebay, but this one I think would look cool color matched in TCM.

It looks to be the same basic style as the grill that has the fog lights in it. I had the halo fog grill and it fit ok.

It can't be that bad. just maybe do a search for grills around here and see what you come up with.

Sorry, nasty, not the same grill.

The ebay linked grill is (probably) a copy of the ABS Dynamics grill. I bought one a few months ago. The fit was pretty good, with the exception of the center pin.
Finish wasn't too bad. It will need a little work though, There are molding lines around the 'vents' on either side.
The other thing is that the center section is mesh, not solid like the OE grill. Some people feel that more dirt and crap will get into the engine bay.
I (poorly) painted mine myself, then took it back off and put the stock grill back on. I'll probably try to get it stripped and repainted professionally.

Fits just fine. The center pin needs to be drilled out a bit, but otherwise, it's fine.

The open design does mean the engine bay gets dirtier, but it's worth it, especially if you run engine bay lighting.

I like this one more, but is seems to have a little gap at the top. Anyone have one they care to comment about? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Hell, other suggestions welcomed too. I am REALLY getting tired of looking at the front end of my ride.

You're gonna be paying more than you might expect to get that painted. The fit doesn't look that great and it's gonna be raw fiberglass (maybe gel coat) but you're gonna have to paint it.

:?

most???? -I've only posted 3 grills.

one cheapo from ebay and the other two aren't even really that expensive. I'd say they were still on the cheap side as far as grills are concerned. Besides, you are mistaken. I check ebay every day for grills and I have not seen the other two grills on there. If you found one on ebay that I missed that matches either of the latter two that I posted by all means, post a link.
All the "under $50" grills on ebay are the same design, just a different finish (chrome, CF, or unpainted black ABS). I don't like the fitment of those grills.

the second one I saw a few months back, a knock off for about 50 shipped, and the "real jdm" one for 75 shipped

I bought one with halo fogs, shipped for 47 you have to keep an eye out, don't get in a hurry to buy one

yeah, I'm trying not to. I've been searching for some time but the closer I get to taking the plunge, the harder it is to make up my mind. Once I find one I like, The next day I find another I like better. I'm hoping people here can help me sway my decision. I'm willing to drop up to $150-$175 for a cool one and maybe make it a project to paint it myself.
