Default HID kit installed on 08 tc

WOW

just installed the 6k kit bought off here in my gf's 08 scion tc.

the projectors are the only reason i told her to get them. i have bi-xenon adaptive headlighting already in my audi, so I know what HID should look like.

they look amazing in her car. NO HOTSPOTS, very good distribution of light. and amazing look from the outside. very good spread, lights up the whole road, and very little glare

if you get an 08 with the projectors, i recommend getting HIDs.

of course we all know how hard it is to take pics of our HIDs at night, and even harder when you're riding in passenger seat with a camera phone. but here they are.

picture on the fence, the difference in brightness is not really that big. it is actually a very even spread, with slightly brighter spots in the middle.

cutoff is very flat, not too high either which keeps glare down. almost no light escapes over the cutoff

From the second pic, the cutoff looks pretty good. Nice spread too. The cutoff is soft though. I think if you swap out with a clear lens, the cutoff would be very sharp. For a plug-n-play hid kit, that's a good upgrade.

4300k is the way to go for me. I wouldn't go anywhere higher higher than 5000k.

I have an 08 as well and want to get HID before winter. How hard was the install, and which ones did you go with?

Thanks.

thesevillian- those are great photos - mind me posting them on the site so people can see what the HID looks like with the 08 projectors?
