Default VRD fogs and OEM lip

I expect my VRD fogs to come this week, and I'm a little nervous about cutting the front lip. Anyone with VRD fogs and the OEM front lip, what is the best tool to use to get a clean cut on the lip, and approximately how much of the lip will I need to cut for them to fit?

its about 2-3 inches. take the lip off the bumper, then lay the fog lamp over the lip to find out how much to cut. thats what I should have done. instead I just eyeballed it and cut half an inch too much LOL. i used a dremel.

make sure to put some touch up paint where you cut. the lip is black underneath the paint and the shavings will show.

here's my ghetto hack job LOL

^^^ That's for the "JDM" fogs, you do not need to cut that much for the VRD fogs like the HKSpeed pic

Does a fully stock, non-lipped bumper need to be cut for install, too?

awesome, now are the they simply plug n' play (i'm guessing the wires where the factory fogs would hook up are just sitting there even if you didn't get the foglight option on the tc?

So from the pics, it looks like only the sides of the lip get cut, is that correct? Does the bottom slide under the fog light?
