Default My Introduction/Progress Thread

Hey! My name's Jay. I introduced myself awhile back when I was on the hunt for a tC but now I realize I haven't posted since I've gotten one lol. SOoo this is my reintroduction and progress thread. I'm 19, had an em2 since 16 until that was rudely taken from me (r.i.p) when the motor blew and I was the victim of a hit and run. Lucky enough, the other drivers plate lodged into my bumper so I got the insurance money and I sold the civic at an auction. Late July I picked up my 06 csm bone stock with 100k. Heres some pics of it pretty much how it sits now:

Mod List:
Took Off The Tint
Took Off The Pedestal Spoiler
Anzo Tail Lights
LED Parking Lights
All LED Interior Lights
LED License Plate Lights
Custom Plate
Hks Carbon Ti + Res Delete (sold after state ref ticket)
Injen Intake (sold after state ref ticket)
Blue Batmobile Eyelids
Fit Antenna
TRD Door Sill Pieces
Obx Shift ****
Carbon Fiber B Pillars
Dr. Iscotopes Radiator Cover
B and G Coilovers
Vrd Fog Lights
Badgeless Rear Garnish
Kaminari Flushmount Spoiler
Red Third Brake Light
Bride X HKS Artis II seat (not installed yet)
Takata Harness (not installed yet)
Buddy Club Seat Rail (ordered)
Wed Sport TC105N's (ordered)
Project Kics Neo Chrome Lugs (ordered)

Some of the mods listed aren't pictured, some aren't installed as stated but im pretty happy with how the build is going. In the pics, my car is lower than it sits now because I blew my cv boots and almost took out my oil pan. Never was a fan of lowness, I just figured Id do it for the hell of it till I got proper rims and tires but it wasn't worth it to me. Next would be wheels and then Id like to be loud again lol. Let me know what you guys think!

I wish fart cans were seized in MA, score one for CA.
But thankfully I can get away with a catless exhaust on my subaru, so I have that going for me. That and snow ...

Looks like your making due with what your allowed to do out there though, car looks clean (as in actually detailed properly)
I just dont care for the rice details like the chicken wire grill, eye lids, and "tuning" license plate covers. Adding bulbs and trinkets to a car isnt considered tuning, but maybe it is in CA.

Only time Id rock a "fart can" or canister exhaust is when its a proper company like for example HKS so I know it will sound good and not look too cheap but for the most part they're not too pretty. But it was a 500$ axelback that I got for free so

The grille is not chicken wire. Thats the fluorescent lighting in the picture. Its a vrd.

The license plate cover says PTUNING, as in the company I bought my coilovers from and plan to buy my exhaust from. Possibly turbo as well. im not claimng I tuned my car with leds Im supporting a company I like lol

I personally don't see the eyelids as "ricey" considering the tC comes factory with eyebrows but I respect your opinion lol

To each they're own...looks good man. I have been waiting on my B&G RS2 coilovers...Fing backorder! Anyway, I like how yours sits, do you know the measurements as far as front and rear adjustment? I know the front you cant be adjusted after install, not sure about the rear but I think they can't either. You have to set them prior, is that correct?

So in the rear you remove the bottom locking ring and just screw the threaded housing all the way down and assume once it's bottomed out like that it does the same function the lower ring did? What rail, I have my full set of original seats out of my 05'. Did you already purchase the rail?

Yeah exactly. The spring has some play when you remove the collar, but its not gonna go anywhere. But I raised the car up a bit in the front and put the collar back in because I blew my cv boots and as good as it looks, I enjoy cornering too much haha

Well I ordered a buddyclub side mount rail. I bought an old bride bucket seat from the old hks demo cars. Its just sitting in my room waiting for the rail lol

Still waiting for my seat rail. But I did finally install a few things: kaminari flushmount, redtbl, badgless reargarnish and no more holes in my trunk! Sorry its only one cell phone picture.

So since Ive been gone, Ive done a few things. Buddyclub lagged for months on my seat rail so I gave up on them and cancelled the order. I understand that they dont sell many of them but it got alittle ridiculous for me. Id still recommend the company just dont expect to get a seat rail for your tc lol. Anyways, I ended up getting a a custom mount from corbeau. I then picked up a steering wheel. Key!s racing deep with works bell hub and quick release. Next was my ARC shift ****. Perfect size and looks bad ___ but ridiculous price lol. I also got a pioneer double din head unit with gps but dont have any good pictures. Heres some pictures.

Also, got a Kaminari hood. It got manhandled during the shipping process and im pretty angry about it but not much you can do. Now I have to deal with the shipping claim and all that but whatever. It still looks really good.
