Default Kaminari carbon Fiber reverse cowl hood QUESTIONS?

I might be ordering a new hood tonight.
I was wondering if the Kaminari hood comes with the latch to use the stock latch or if hood pins are needed?
How about the hood strut with it? I have the redline tunning strut, will this be ok with the carbon fiber hood?

How about twindow washer jets? Are the holes predrilled?

Thanks for any help!!

Stock latch works perfectly fine, you dont need hood pins etc, dont think the strut would work but im not too exactly sure, the holes are not pre drilled they are premarked but not drilled, I heard its hard to make washers fit.

hope it helps, its worth every penny!

i've seen a guy that installed the washer nozzles in the black plastic part that the actual blades are on. That way he could keep the washer nozzles and the cf hood.

I personally am just gonna keep a bottle of cleaner and some towels in my car. I never really use my washer fluid anyways.

i dont even do that. I wash my car like 1 or 2 times a month, no need for wiper and fluid and such. its not really a big deal at all

The Kaminari comes with it's own latch. You do not need hood pins it is very secure. I am not sure about the hood strut... I would assume you can use it. As for the washer holes... there is a template on the hood that you can cut out if you need to. I chose not to use mine.

Good luck... You will love it!!

Thanks everyone. The body shop cut me a check 20 minutes ago to buy what i need. calling up and ordering my kaminari stuff now.

The body shop said they think the hood shock will be fine. If not they will find a less stiff shock for it. I might skip the windshield washer nozzles. I wash my car twice a week. So my windshield usually isnt to bad.

I hope this hood looks right on my car. I am really worried about it. Also worried about haviung waterspots all over the engine.
