Sorry for not having the pictures and a legit step by step but heres what i did.

I went to my local AAP...got myself a 5 dollar can of a gloss black import auto trimming paint....

i grabbed myself a bunch of newspapers, newspapered my hood, bumper and front wheels, i taped up the head lights around the eyelids.....

and once everythings all covered up, grab the spraypaint and paint the eyelids black..dont over use the paint to avoid bubbles....you dont want to drown it in paint.

be sure to do a good job taping up the headlights so you dont get paint in places you do not want....

but heres what my finished product looked like

dude, you're going to have some serious issues, once it starts chipping.

its going to be a pain in the but, and if you didnt wedsand, clearcoat, im guessing itll result in orange peel matte bumpy finish.

me thinks vinyl is a cheaper and more effecient alternative.. if anything goes wrong, peel it off, if you paint directly on the lids youre in for some serious resanding cleaning and so on.

 

are those wheels bronze.....or just really dirty?

 

id say dirty

 

they're bronze. they look just like mine when i take a pic. the camera just can't capture the tone it produces. looks much more vivid in person

edit: actually, the rear rim isn't bronze too so maybe they are just really dirty haha
