Default mystery exhaust rattle

I have been hearing this rattling noise coming from underheath the car, made me think it was my exhaust rattling against something.

i took it to my garage today and we put it on the lift and inspected the entire exhaust system visibly. pulled and pushed on hte piping and heat sheidls. nothing is touching anywhere. i took my garage guy for a spin so he could hear the rattling, my luck, didnt rattle (normally it rattles whenever i would press down on the gas from a dead stop, turn right with the gas pedal pressed and sometimes when i let off the gas and then press it down again). in fact it didnt rattle after that until i pulled onto the rd where my job is at.

if its not any metal touching anywhere, any ideas what it may be? cat going bad? any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

thanks

prolly the connection(seal) between the axle back and the main pipe. it happen to me 3 times already, until I ask the shop to just spot weld it .

had a similar rattle ... found 1 loose bolt on the exhaust tip. would intermittently rattle. took me a while to find where it was coming from. the tip is welded on so didn't even need the bolt. removed it ... no more rattle.

This is exactly where my rattle is coming from and I can't seem to quiet it! I know what the problem is but can't seem to figure a way to fix it...

CAI is short for Cold Air Intake. Takes the place of the stock air box.

Is it stock? I have a Strup and the expanded steel pipe in the muffler is loose and rattling. I should probably do something about it.

Inside the muffler or just the baffle? If it's inside the muffler, I'd bet Charlie would take care of it for you if it's less than a year old. Can't hurt to ask him.

Who's Charlie? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's less than a year old, can't remember exactly when I bought it.

Charlie Westrup, The owner of Strup who makes your exhaust. He is a nice guy to deal with. My Strup came with a ding in the side of it and he sent me a replacement one cause I told him it was going on a show car (box).

My axle-back was rattling against the body and driving me CRAZY...I bought a roll of exhaust wrap....wrapped the area...not a peep now.
