Im running a dell inspiron 1710 laptop and its running off my wireless internet(wireless B-I know, i know its old lol)...my problem is my desktop where my router is located, is downstairs and on the other side of my house and I get a really crappy internet signal...maybe like 2 bars if im lucky. How can I boost my internet signal...i actually have a netgear wireless G setup that came with my laptop that I need to install but I dont think it will help much due to the distance issue with the router and laptop...is there anything else that I can do to boost my signal?
edit: I forgot to say that Im also running windows vista...dunno if that changes anything or not, Im not to computer saavy lol.

You can probably hook an external antenna up to your wireless card too... but it's not as fun!
