If u buy a button it will come with wiring instructions. But basically u tap into the ignition wires (2) and install a relay onto each.

How does the button work in conjunction with the key? I know I could search, but I'm too lazy, and I'm only a little bit intruiged. Do you need to have the key in the ignition to use the start button?

U can wire it however u want. Delete the key or not. For mine the key has to be in the ignition but thats so someone cant just break my window and start my car.

You have to use the key still.

Bypassing the key will be somewhat complicated, with the immobilizer system and hard access to the ignition.

Contact the guy that sells them since he's probably the only one who has diagrams just laying around.

Just curious. Does the key have to be in the ignition for the immobilizer to work. Or say you have a back up key w/o a chip and you have the legit key in your pocket. Would that be enough or still trip the immobilizer?
