looking at replacing my stock 17's on my 2008 tc.. car's silver but i can't really make up my mind what i want at all.. would really like your input
i wanna go to 18's with a lip

 

I hate the black with the chrome lip. Gun metal or Gold. I'm looking into either Bronze or Gold rims myself.

 

gold/silver combination looks weird IMO.. i vote for gunmetal

 

not really feelin the gold or solid chorme either, but i just put them on there to see what people though

i think this silver car is the hardest choice i have ever had to make on rims.. i wish i would have got a white one

Stay away from chrome. In the parking lot where I work I saw a tC with chrome wheels on it. Needless to say, it looked really bad. I see more and more tCs now going with Gunmetal/Anthracite. Hyper Black is a nice color. I have a set of 5Zigens in HB and they look really nice. I am really beginning to like Silver rims on silver tCs. So, to answer your ?; go Silver, HB, Gunmetal, or Gold. For some strange reason, Gold looks better than bronze on silver tCs. GL

 

Yeah, I wanted a white car myself (SW or RS3), but since the 07s were being phased out to make room for the 08s (I did NOT want an 08-looked ugly), it was near impossible to find a 07 SW. I tried to convince my parents to buy me the RS3 (the next best color), but it was out of our budget. So, I got stuck with the CSM. I wasn't too happy about the color, but it's grown on me. It's just a shame I couldn't get the gold wheels I originally wanted... I thinking about gunmetal though. It looks nice on the silver. Black is too overused, IMO.

gold look hot on rs2 or white.. not so much silver cars..

I am having the same issue with picking a finish for my silver tC. I am leaning towards either silver or gunmetal... definitely no chrome or gold on the silver car...

 

after looking at every pic of a silver car on here lol i think i am down to either hyper silver, or hyper black and chrome... i don't like gun metal on silver, and i don't like gold
