i just installed my avic d3 and had a few questions maybe yall can help me out with.

i bought a metra wiring harnest

i wasn't sure what to do with the blue, orange / black, and black (not sure if i was suppose to ground this one too) cables on the wiring harnest.

anything would help guys.

everything else is fine but i cannot use the digital gauges on the avic?

 

you didnt hook up the speed sense, or you didnt hook it up right if te gauges arent working. the blue and orange wires are not used and i dont know what the two black wires are for, i would assume ground both but what are they for? (should be labeled somewhere)

 

its a orange cable with 2 black lines on it. sorry about the mix up and one all black cable.

 

i have an 05 tc so is it still the same one to hook it up to the orange cable on the havc or whatever you call it?

 

the orange should be for illumination, you dont use it. its a pink or purple wire for the speed sense, which is hooked to the havc harness...
