I posted this in the xA section as well, but no responses yet.

Owners w/HID kits(and sponsored sellers of HID kits here) , please chime in . What has your experiences been, in regards to longevity/lifespan of HID / zenon bulbs ?? It would be best if owners that have replaced them already, could chime in w/ roughly how many hours/years the bulbs lasted them for - would be greatly apprciated.

I believe they're supposed to last two years of average use.

I've had mine for almost a year now and I haven't encountered any issues with them yet. I use them pretty frequently too.

 

from where did you buy your HID kit from ? Also, what temp. bulbs did you get ?

 

i think they are supposed to last 3000 hours.

 

sorry dont know if my input is needed or not, i dont have them.

but ive looked into them for quite a while and i think they last 2-3 years on average

 

I got em from Operatic. 6000K. Great product!

 

I got my HIDS from MobileHID. 8000k.
It says right on the box: HIDS rated 3200hrs vs Halons 320hrs

I will Post pics after a few more mods Next year.
