Getting engine vibration at idle in drive. what can i do?
i search the forum but didn't find anything really.
when im dropping some one off or at a stop light. my engine stops vibrating and my plate starts hitting the bumper. gets kinda annoying. only in drive however , never in neutral.
What can i do? if theres anything i can do it my self which i doubt.

Remove plate. Problem solved.
The front plate is legally required in California, but I don't use it for reasons such as this one. Plus it also looks like áss.
I used to have vibration with my rear plate but I found a way to fix that. First, I got rid of the plate frame, but it was still vibrating against the trunk. So I took off the plate and applied some strips of adhesive foam tape (Home Depot) to the back of the license plate, around the edges. Now it has a nice soft point of contact with the trunk and there is no vibration. The same thing would work for the front plate if you want to try it.
