So no one is making stealth boxes for 8's?
i've looked and searched but haven't really found anything outside of underseat boxes. someone has to have a stealth box for 2 8" subs out there. can anyone give me some info here? i'm totally shocked considering this car has been out for as long as it has.

no tools. and honestly, i tried that before and was not happy with my results. it's one of those things i'd like to leave to professionals. if i have no other option, i'll do it myself and go borrow tools like i did last time, but only as a last resort.

You can actually find some pretty nice stealth boxes on the forums here. lvbitwiz has a very nice one that he just finished as well as ScioXBox. Take a trip down to your local car stereo shop that does custom work and have them build you one. It should run about $350.00. There is also one guy selling them on eBay.
I will be building mine sometime in Feb...
Good luck.

I say this is probably your best bet. It's not for 8's, but might as well go with the 10's!

Elemental Designs has a spare-tire enclosure, in addition to the underseat box, that can hold 2 tens or 1 thirteen.
I think it's odd that you think you'd find a stealth box for a pair of eights. Eights are not a popular size. You'll find only about half as many different brands that make eights as tens. And then most are old designs (5 years are more) because advances in materials has allowed tens to perform very well in boxes once reserved for eights.
Even if companies were making xb-specific enclosures, I'm sure they'd target tens and twelves, not eights.
Your best option is to have one built for you and your xB.
