Default Need help with BBS wheels

A guy I know is getting rid of his wheels from his VW. They are 17x7.5 BBS RX228 one piece wheels. 5x100 bolt pattern and a 35 offset. They come with tires 225/45/17 pirelli p zero nero. No curb shots but one wheel has a slight mark from the tire shop around the lip (I'm guessing it can be buffed out). I can't find much info about these wheels online. Anyone know the specs on these or if they will fit ok with the 35 offset? Also what would be a good price for these? Any help is appreciated.

yeah man should fit just fine, to put in perspective, mine are 18's with a 35 offset along with a 7.5'' width.

they should work with your car nicely

Thanks. Bump for any other input - if these are good wheels to buy, what they might be worth, etc.

I found the wheel specs, but does anyone know for sure if these will rub on trd springs? 17x7.5 et35...I think it might be pushing it.

it's a 17 inch wheel. it won't rub unless you go on a big dip real fast. i have 19's on s-tech's with no issue.

Are you looking at the chrome or silver painted version?

I know the TRD drop is probably the most mild of all the drops. And I have heard of similar setups working fine. So you should be OK.

Good luck.

They are the silver painted, I'm not a fan of chrome too much.

you'll be fine man the drop isn't extreme enough to hit anything and those are a pretty moderate fitment.
