Default E-manage wiring

hello everyone, just got my emanage today and was trying to hook up. i have toyota wiring diagram for my 2004 xb. i need to no which wire is for the air flow signal.there are three possibilities i think. there is a yellow with black line, a violet ,and a pink.
i hooked up to the yellow w/black at first and got a code for wrong connection or disconnected.

then i hooked it up to the pink wire and i dont even have power to the emanage now.
any help? thanks

i'm not sure what you do with the jumper settings unless it's for a tC. as for the wiring, do you have an ECU pinout diagram? i know you can get a diagram of where each wire goes into the emanage and stuff off of greddy's USA website. also, this yahoo group helped me find random stuff as well as updated GReddy support software:

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/emanage/

hope this helps

thanks alot man; i appreciate your help. didnt see anything in the yahoo place on xb but i will try later. i have wiring diagram but i there are three wires for a/f signal which is also referred to as vg. now i have the problem that it is not even powering up.any idea on that? i didnt touch jumper settings at first ; didnt follow directions properly? directions seem to be backwards and not very informative , especially on the jumper settings. yeah i have been looking at the greddy site, trying to figure this out. thanks for everyones help. going back to the garage.

hmm.. it's hard for me to relate to your situation b/c mine was with a tC ECU harness.. but on mine there was a red emanage power cable and a black ground... that should be all you need for actual power to the unit.

^go there and scroll about half way down until you see the wiring diagram. you should have a white wire and a green wire for airflow input and output, respectively. okay. i believe that terminal E6-28 is the airflow terminal you want to use (MAF signal). just that one terminal. that's all my dezod harness had wired for mine. are you using dezod's pinout on their website? i don't see the other 2 airflow wires you're talking about on there.

am i helping at all? haha sorry, i know how frustrating the emanage is. BELIEVE ME. my turbo's been in for 2 and a half weeks and my car still won't start.

i'd just follow the dezod pinout diagram for the emanage wiring.. it's probably easier.

well it looks helpfull; i did notice that the pinout for the air flow on the dezod site also showed two wires the purple and the violet; but they are not where they say they are according to my ecu and toyota diagram.pink wire is at 24d which is second plug from the left(e6), and the violet wire is 32d on the same (e6). i compared a couple of other signal wires that matched up to the toyota diagram perfectly, but that one seems to be wrong.
is it possible i shorted out emanage by not setting jumpers?
i dont understand what i am supposed to do to this green board i took out of the emanage blue? can you explain to me i am kinda slow sometimes? thanks

hmm.. luckily i only had to compare the ECU pinout in regards to my wiring harness, so it wasn't as in depth as yours appears to be. if that's the case, maybe you should stick to the toyota diagram lol. as far as jumpers go, i thought i may have shorted my emanage out as well, but i don't think so. the jumpers basically control different settings that vary from car to car. you need to get the correct jumper settings and rotary settings (the rotary settings can be found at the end of the board where the fuel trip ***** are... those three white rotary switches that are probably set to 0-0-0 are the one's you'll need to change.. let me find a pic of that for you, too. again, mine are tC-spec. who'd you get the emanage from? try asking them for more detailed tech support if you can, i'm sure they'd be able to help you more..

ok the three white ***** ate the far left are the rotary settings you'll need to change while you have the circuit board out of the housing:

(ignore the 4-2-2, that's tC setting)

well ifound the jumpers finally the blue things with the black thing on top. mine is almost like yours i am still trying to figure out how to set them properly.
what about the three rotary settings on front; i think i understand the first one it is supposed to be set to 4 for 4 cyl right?what about air -flow type selector; the next to dials after the # of cylinders? i am getting tired ..... cant sleep though.

the emanage light should still light up whether or not you have the correct rotary/jumper settings
