What do you replace to get a smoother ride? noob
i think the tc is great but my car does not handle bumps very well. my 99 camry was much smoother. i know its a cheap car so what to do to make it run smoother?
make sure you have 32 to 35 psi in all four tires (while you're at it, check your spare tire.)
And that's really it, if you have the 17" or 18" rims, you have a lower profile tire than the factory Camry did.
And that's really all I can say...

higher psi make for a stiffer ride(over small bumps).......i go as low as 28/29 psi..and its a lil smoother...mpg may suffer a lil though......wheels and tire sizes make a big difference...maybe get ahold of a spec-tc's steel wheels...i think they are either 15/16in. wheel...then get a tire with a larger side wall.....

yea the stuff you can do to improve your suspension is only gonna make it ride rougher. thats just a side effect of having nice rims and tires and a decent suspension. just suck it up and be glad you have a cooler car. lmao
The suspension/chasis is set up more towards handling than smooth ride. No, its no sports car, but the balance is more towards the handling than comfort. Anyone you talk to that has changed it made it handle better, thus ride worse. It isnt a "cheap" thing, it is a "what is priority" thing.
