Default How does you pulley feel to you

So I just installed my Brother's lightweight crank pulley and I want to hear what kind of difference you noticed when you installed your pulley.

I just did the crank and I didn't notice anything either?! I thought it was just me, but it is a little disappointing.

Yeah I will no a little more on Sunday. I have a friend with a tC with the same mods except for the pull so we want to see how much it really does.

Its because you are making the most minute change in rotational mass you possibly can. Throw it in the trash (and put the one with the damper back on) and swap flywheels if you want a nice effect. More work, but you get what you put into it you know No change in rotational mass frees up power in the real world (you are changing moment of inertia), but it will make the engine speed increase and decrease faster, which, with a large enough change, will have some effect on acceleration. But mainly it will make for better rev matching.

Good choice of flywheel as well. If I ever decide to swap mine, that is the brand I will buy for sure.

So you can only do one of the two either the flywheel or the pulley? I thought that you could do both. I have the intentions of upgrading the clutch and flywheel just a little ways down the road.

You can do both. But, without getting into the full argument over it, I wouldnt remove the damper from my crank pulley (it is not a balancer, so lets not go there ). You can search around for the reasons why and find a good amount of info on it. Make up your own mind based on that if you want.

And seeing as how you feel no difference at all, why stick with the aftermarket one? Obviously it is doing near nothing for you.
