i'd like to hear your comments on the trd lowering springs.
ride quality, handling, too harsh, too sweet, yays and nays.

would you recommend them to a guy who gets his kicks ripping through turns?

i've ordered for my tC, but i've got til the end of this month. please lemme know what your experiences have been.

yeah but get springs that will actually lower the car, like spy springs or Teins...

What the hell kinda lowering springs cost a grand!! Thats what i want to know! If its TRD, there a grand cuz Toyota marks them up 100%! Get some TEIN's! $900.00 wel spent with full up and down adjustability.

the $900 includes cost of install. The springs cost $200. Since I don't have a lift at home and value my warranty. . .this is a good option.

again, i'd like to hear from those who have the springs and how much they do/don't like them.

700.00 to install them!!! U gotta be kiddin me!!!! Thats a horrible option............ But hey! Its your money!

The only benefit from getting the factory installed springs and/or shocks is to keep the warranty, and have a moded car.

Factory parts are more reliable, and if they brake, and cause damage to your car it's a lot easier to get the vehicle fixed, when a company like TOYOTA is backing it up.

I'm still wondering why you guys are paying so much for springs. I bought my springs and sway bar as a package deal from trdsparks.com for $192 with no shipping. My dealer installed them and aligned everything for $135. That's only $327 total. I think that you guys might be getting screwed if you're paying more than $500 total for trd springs and install.

BTW the trd springs are great as long as you're not paying out the arse for them. I think they look nice and clean especially if you've got stock wheels. Any lower of a drop and it would make the stock wheels look tiny and stupid. And they ride especially nice with the sway bar too!

great point tigress, i'm disappointed that i paid so much for my springs.
i'm very happy with them, but i wish i could have saved a little dough.

o well, what's 800 bucks financed for 5 years...hmmm...
