So i am in San Marcos right now visiting some friends and we went down to San Diego to go eat and hang out. But as we left CSUSM and headed out to downtown it started to freak out. And didnt get any better when we got into downtown. It was having me drive into water, or into grassfields. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had that problem with their Avic-D3 at all or In the San Diego area. It works fine when i am back home in the desert. I also reset it a couple times and still nothing. but ill have to try it out again.

On top of the dash or underneath the dash pad? Sometimes the units go on the fritz if they don't have a good link with the satellites. Make sure the antenna wire hasn't been bent too much or pinched causing a break in the wire.
