San Diego and Avic-D3
So i am in San Marcos right now visiting some friends and we went down to San Diego to go eat and hang out. But as we left CSUSM and headed out to downtown it started to freak out. And didnt get any better when we got into downtown. It was having me drive into water, or into grassfields. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had that problem with their Avic-D3 at all or In the San Diego area. It works fine when i am back home in the desert. I also reset it a couple times and still nothing. but ill have to try it out again.
thats right. I was driving on the 8 and got off a road and it showed me like driving through water. kinda weird i know but i dont know. i got home tonight and i think its workin a little better i will try and see if it gets me to work right.
as for location. on my dash behind the speedo.

On top of the dash or underneath the dash pad? Sometimes the units go on the fritz if they don't have a good link with the satellites. Make sure the antenna wire hasn't been bent too much or pinched causing a break in the wire.
