Default XB Brake Light bulb voltage??

Does anyone know if the brake light bulb (7443) puts out 12 volts? I'm wondering, cuz I'm going to replace the bulb with an LED bulb that is 12v. I just wanna make sure I'm not gonna mess up the circuit boards or anything.
Thanx for the help.

The automotive system's are 12V. The amperage draw of bulbs may differ, but the voltage is the same. Beware, when working with LED's, polarity matters. + to + and - to -. So if you fire up an LED and it fails to light, just reverse the polarity. (switch the wires) Ligtht Emitting Diode. Diode= oneway electrical check valve.

Hope this helps.
