So I bring my car today to Daytona Toyota in Daytona Beach, FL. I made an appointment last thursday for 11:30. The service advisor said "No problem, should take 5 to 6 hours". So I get a call just now saying that they have to have the car there OVERNIGHT, they couldn't get around to finishing it today. Bull____. I'm ____ed, I need my car for school and work tomorrow. So I'm calling the manager and telling them they either finish it today or I'm taking my car back and finishing the job myself. I hate liars.

 

Don't they have fleet cars for you to drive in the meantime? I got to drive an xA around while they were working on my car. Kinda dulls the pain a little.

However, now I know I'll NEVER buy an xA.

 

I called the manager and he is gonna let me borrow a car to drive at no charge so that made it better. I was getting worried.

States in the manual if they need the car overnight, they will provide a loaner car.
