I'm gonna buy a 2005 xB, Silver.... 5sp manual w/ 40K miles...
The guy wont go lower than 10500, is this considered a good xB deal....? Its very clean looking with full leather interior... even on the door panels.

If I get it.... It'll be TODAY!!!!!
Soooooo... I guess I need ur honest opinion.
Blue book value is around $12k in mint condition.
The price sounds OK to me if the car is in good condition. Take it to a mechanic and give it a good once over.
You might also want to do a CarFax report.

Got the CarFax already! Clean title ...
Mechanically, the car seems very good. No squeaks or grunts or moans anywhere. Car has a couple of dings, rims are a little curbd' up(those r gonna change neways). Also kinda wierd.... The roof and spoiler are white. Its almost like someone was gonna two tone it.. but didnt finish. Other thatn that VERY clean car... and the leather is a nice touch.

Sounds like a great deal-especially if he has the maintenence records to prove it's been taken care of.
That leather is a huge plus.
If you end up buying it I'd get an oil change and run some fuel cleaner through it etc just because it's a used car.
Before you buy it have someone, or do it yourself, check the brake pads, air filter, tire wear (camber wear, have they been rotated), the exhaust just to see what kind of use it's seen (look for dents on the exhaust to make sure he hasn't been off-roading it-the rest is just normal wear stuff but shows how hard it has been used)
The curbage might show that he has hit something so test drive and make sure it doesn't pull (drives straight by itself on a level road with no ruts) and if you can have somebody drive it away and towards you slowly so you can watch the wheels for wobbling that would help-if it's just cosmetic just make sure there are no cracks in the rim part of the wheel

I work at a car dealership....we dont use blue book no dealer here anyway....we use something called galves....the price for that car is $8,675 if it was a trade in....if we were to buy it from the customer and sell it we would sell it for $10,900 - $11,300....so i would have to say its a good deal....
