Default suspension for my daily drive?

i'm planning on going with trd springs cause i also dont want too low of a car.
also im gonna get the struts cause sooner or later i will need to replace the stock ones.

but my question is do you think i will need a rear sway bar & and strut bar?
ive heard they make the tC more stiffer. but does it make much of a difference with your daily driver?

With the TRD Springs you do not have to replace your struts right away. I've read peeps on here who have 30K+ miles on their TRD Springs and stock struts. I would use that extra chedda on something like the Hotchkis Front & Rear Sway package. Stay away from the strut bar! It offers minimal gains and is more cosmetic than functional.

it would be easier to switch out the springs and struts at the same time. but, you can last a while on just springs. sway bar WILL make a difference, and the strut bar WILL make a visual difference. looks nice in the engine bay. performance? meh.. not too much.

strut bar is mainly visual and should be last. Sway bars make a huge difference. And since you are lowering anyway, struts would be easy to do at that same time if you have the money. But like mentioned are not necessary.

Even if it isn't entirely neccesary to replace the struts when using lowering springs..If you plan on doing it in the future your better off doing it all at once..it'll save you money in the long run.

Spring installation + alignment

then you will have...

Strut installation + alignment

the only reason I reccomend another alignment is because anytime you change springs or struts (whether it is an OEM or aftermarket replacement) that part may have a big impact on the alignment of the car, so it's more or less for good measure..

Yep. Anytime you upgrade/touch the suspension you should get an alignment. Good call.

go with TRD springs and strut/shock combo, as well as the TRD rear sway bar. with that setup you'll be good to go for daily driving, without any comfort sacrifices.
