In the owners manual it says

"Change Engine Oil"

I just got an oil change 1500 miles ago and the car only has 4500 miles on it total? Does this mean there is not enough oil in the car? Does anyone know more specifically what this warning light is trying to tell me?

The warning light will come up at the schedule amount of miles wether you do it after or not. I guess that the ECU is programmed to trigger the Service Light every time it hits the 4K interval...

Its suppose to come on every 5000 miles because that is a service interval and you supposed to have your oil and rotate within that time.
