Hey everyone. I am looking all over scionlife for a post on DIY xA headlight customizing. The one in particular was painting the bottom lip a platinum gray color. I wish I had more info. Anyone remember this? I will be forever in your debt!

Also, where is the DIY for installing the xA spoiler? Thanx all! :D

Not sure on the headlights but here's how to install the spoiler. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...7&parts_id=335 there will be a "button" that says installation manual on the right hand side of the page. Just click it and load the PDF then print and you're good to go. GL!

Looks like the pics are dead, but is this the headlight post that you're looking for?

The spoiler was the one mod I had the dealership install. You need a special tool for the install for i think they are called Rivnuts.

Be careful before you start punching holes in your hatch.

it is easy, just scarry if you think about it. the rivnuts take a little thinking to get them compressed right. you will need 2 wrenches, a bolt, a couple lock washers, regular washers if you need to fill the space, some nuts and some nuts.

I know that this writeup sucks, but here.... bolt then washer/s then nut ( bigger size than the bolt, than lock washer and you have to put them together so that the lock washer holds the rivnut still while you turn the bolt... one wrench on the nut and other on the bolt... if you do it right the rivnut stays still and the bolt is tightened into the rivnut and will start to compress... just get it started and in the hole on the hatch than remove the bolt and add a couple more washers to get the rivnut to compress more...

I think that I just repeated myself..... dam sleep depervation... it sounds confusing, but the others out there like me that have done this mod themselves know what I am talking about.
