Default Anyone have this problem?

I have turbonetics kit on my auto tC. Great kit, works superb with Greddy E-Manage and nothing wrong with the turbo kit. But there is one thing that bothers me....As I'm driving regularly on the highway, not even in boost, in vacuum, cruising at 60 mph with the gas pedal at about 30% down. Just basic cruising. But all of a sudden it feels like an emptiness, as if my transmission just disappears and it falls out of gear and then 2 seconds later the car feels like it kicks back into gear. It feels like I downshifted but the rpm's don't rev up. It's just the feeling. This happens once or twice a week for the past month. Was not able to figure it out. Anyone know what it might be? or How i can check it? or If anyone has had the same problem?

Trans is probably going out. How many miles and how many Hp's are you running?

Does it tend to happen on mostly hills? I think I know wat ur talkin about and I have the same issue. Exhaust gets oud like its downshifting then it goes bak to the proper gear. I have that happen also.

8.5 is how the kit comes. Ive had it for over a yr and over 30K and my trans feels the same as when I first put on the kit. Just make sure to get ur tranny flushes when u need to and I dont think its something to worry about,

Depends on dyno, The I used is known a the heartbreaker and i got 194 (stock auto dyno'd at 116 on this one), I have seen one on a dynojet get 225 I think it was...

I dont really care about dyno nimbers since they vary to much.

Well okay, this doesn't happen to me on hills, just on the road regularly. The most psi I was able to hit was around 6.5 psi. I'm running about 202 whp and about 235 wtq. Well, I'll get a tranny flush and hook up a tranny cooler in about a few weeks. I've had the kit for about 1500 miles. I have 34k miles on car. And I do not beat on the car, every so often I get on it on an empty road/higway.

Yeah definatly get that tranny cooler strongly recommended for us auto's, If ur only hitting 6.5 at WOT than you might wanna get it checked out. Mine ran 8.5 when I installed it. Other than that I wouldnt worry about it.

yeah I wonder the same..well my kit since its an 07 has a greddy e-manage and was dyno-tuned by a local shop and they did a good job and possibly might have restricted the boost to 6.5 psi. the guy told me that my peak was about 6.5-7.5 psi so maybe thats why he restricted it? i'll go visit them when i have time, exams killllll

It sounds(not literally) like a "hickup"

Your at a point where your ecu/the drive by wire tb/and tranny ecu get a little confused. Simple terms.

Its not a bad thing......and it happens to the 5 speed guys as well..just under different conditions.

Don't stress to much about it........but theres not much you can do to fix it. You can but its $$$$$$$$$$$

But adding a tranny cooler and keeping up on the fluid is always a good thing

If its a high psi car.....and gets abused...time for a level 10 build

Regards-

Todd

I'm running the 630cc Motron injectors that comes with the kit. Idk it just seems like huge injectors for the amount of psi the car is running but maybe turbonetics knows something we dont? im trying my best to maintain the car and next monday hopefully i'll do a full maintenance check-up, belts, oil-change, tranny-flush etc etc. thanks again guys, love the help
