Hi everyone,
I need some input and or help in a decision to make about my new XA that I bought from a dealer that I have had more than my fair share problems with. Make that 2 XA's I have bought, one for my mother-in-law as well.
Both Scion reps were out of complience when they quoted me 10-11 Hp for the AEM Cold Air Intake. In fact, they both later admited to reading the specs for the Toyota Matrix AEM, and applying it to the SCION.
So, now that I have my new XA with the 3-4 barerly noticeable hp at the wheel, and I received this offer from the dealer GM, because obviously I had no way to test out the AEM on my automatic XA before install, I can assure you, I would not have got the option had I come to this forum and learned my abc's about AEM>. :)
He will uninstall the AEM and put the credit towards the keyless entry/alarm, instead, since I was seriously misquoted, or I can keep the AEM, and he will give me $100 towards installing the Keyless. I have also received another $100 credit in the form of the mudflaps for a door ding, and dent when I went to pick up the car, and had to wait 10 days for them to fix it.
What Do you all think?
John
