Just found this on autoblog it looks so stinking xB its not even funny.
I was thinking that i actually really liked the design but then this is a concept if this loses as much cool factor when it goes into production as the t2b did to the xB, it will probably be lame.



Things i dont like about it , are the grill, the things under the headlights, the door handles, and the fact that its a KIA.

 

yeah thats what i thought the other day when i saw this. if we compare concepts and how much coolness they loose between then and production, it makes u realize that this will merely look like an old sportage on a spectra drivetrain.

 

Looks tiny, like a four door Mini Cooper that just took a hit of LSD (and I don't mean limited slip differential).

its too small to go up against the xb2... it will be going up against the xD when the soul launches

Huh. o_0 I see somebody DID listen to the xB1 owners! ......can't say I expected it to be Kia, however....

 

Its hard to tell from the pictures cause theres nothing to compare i to, but it does look more cuv allmost compact suv, I may consider buying it if there was an AWD option and it still got high 20's mpg, and KIA's quality rating suddenly went through the roof... but i dont see that happening real soon.

kias are not that bad..i owned one for 4 yrs never n e problems till i wrecked it :D

 

 

I think it's the proportion of the wheel wells with respect to the overall size of the vehicle. It's an exaggeration of proportions to make it seem like it's more utilitarian like a truck.

• The fake vents on the sides above the front wheels are meant to match the Mini.
• The sharply angled rake of the windows is borrowed from the xB2.
• The front lights are directly borrowed from the RAV.
• The overall shape is being pushed down towards the xD size.

Other than that, I think this is a really creative design.
